Austevoll Seafood ASA is the majority shareholder in both Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (LSG) and Birkeland Farming AS. With the combined ownership in the two companies, we are among the largest producers of salmon in the world.
White fish
Through our ownership of LSG which handles between 100-120,000 tonnes of whitefish annually, Austevoll Seafood ASA is now among the largest producer of white fish product in Europe.
Pelagic - fishing
Austevoll Seafood Group operates fishing vessels with licensed quotas in three of the world's most important fishery countries: Chile, Norway and Peru. Through our subsidiaries the group operates fishing vessels that lands between 400,000–500,000 tonnes of pelagic fish annually.
Pelagic - fishmeal & fish oil
With operations based in Norway, Peru, Chile, UK and Ireland the combined output of our subsidiaries makes Austevoll Seafood Group among the world’s largest producers of fishmeal and fish oil.
Pelagic - DHC
Our pelagic products for direct human consumption (DHC) include frozen fish and canned fish product. Frozen fish and canned fish are both value added products and affordable, and they provide a good source of protein.
